However, i'm not really sure how to properly set up the encoder assembly. It appears to be missing some parts needed to affix the encoder head to the stage platform.

It looks to be in decent cosmetic condition, showing some signs of wear. To this linear slide stage is composed of a pair of Lintech rails in length with four thomson spb 16 opn super pillow blocks, a sony sr 2711 magnescale linear encoder with lf 200 digital position indicator, and two stage platforms 24 x 18 rides on the pillow blocks and 20 x 7.

The stages slides smoothly along the rails.
